  • moisturize after you shower with a mild body lotion or your indoor tanning lotion

  • avoid exposure to water for a minimum of 6 hours after your spray session
  • after care includes: avoid excessive exposure to water (swimming, hot tubs, baths, long showers, etc…), when showering use a gentle body wash and apply with hands only (no washcloth or luffa), do not exfoliate, moisturize moisturize moisturize!

How do sunless products work in general?

Sunless tanning products simply dye the top layer of skin brown using an ingredient commonly known as DHA (Dihydroxyacetone). It does not produce a “real tan” by increasing skin melanin levels, but it can create a tan appearance by reacting with the proteins in the skin and developing a brown color. The development of color takes anywhere from 2-4 hours and the intensity is dependent on the formulation concentration of the DHA in the product.
